I apologize that this is not the correct forum for this but I couldn't find an Excel forum. It seems that whenever I try and do serious work with VLOOKUP in Excel it invariably fails me. It won't find a match even though I know they exist. I check the formatting and remove extraneous blank spaces, but it still fails most of the time. Are there secrets to using VLOOKUP that Microsoft won't share with us?

forum68 is the spot for all MS Office questions, including Excel.

There are no "secrets". It just works. It works every time. If it doesn't work, there's always a good reason.

Try posting a new thread in forum68 and [red]include examples of where it's failing for you[[/red]. (We can't troubleshoot an abstract, you need to have a specific question or example of where it's "not working".)
