Using VBscript to run Outlook

Does anyone have experience using VBscript in a data access page to connect to Microsoft Outlook. I would like to do something very similar to the code listed here: but I don't know what changes are necessary for use in VBscript instead of VBA or if it is even possible to access Outlook through VBscripting. If anyone can offer me some direction on this topic it would be most appreciated.
