I have not used the VBA module in Great Plains but I am very familiar with VBA modules in Access. I installed the additional application VB using Disk 1 of GP 8.0. I logged back in and the VB module is not highlited under Tools / Customization.

I searched other post and they mention dynamics.vba being present. I do not have that file. What are the prerequisites to using Dynamics with VBA?

The Modifier & VBA module must be registered before you can use VBA. Check Help >> About Great Plains >> Options and see if the module is registered.

If it is registered, check the security for the customisation tools as it can be disabled from there.

The Dynamics.VBA file is automatically created the first time you use VBA.
