Using VBA To Monitor If A PCAnywhere Host Is Waiting Or Running

My knowledge of VB is pretty limited, but could anyone offer some suggestions on how you would use VBA to monitor if a PCAnywhere host was waiting for a call or in session and if not waiting or in session, start a host.
