Using VBA to modify ms graph 2002 ole object

I am desparately trying to modify an ms graph 2002 object in an access report. I have added the library as a reference and then added the object and named it 'graph85'. When I go to the visual basic editor, the properties that should be associated with graph85 are not there. I can't access graph85.application.chart. I get an error that says this object doesn't contain this property.

All I am trying to do is to dynamically create a graph for each report that is based on the information in the recordsets. I would just use the chart wizard, however, I need to manipulate the data contained in the recordset a bit.
