Using VBA event from VBScript

I create a excel file from scratch via a VBScript.
The XL then opens for user from script....I'd like to have VBA (doubleclick) event coded as well ...is this possible? to have VBscript contain the event code?

Why not using a template (.xlt) to create the .xls ?
