Using VB...
Can I use BAPI to query SAP (Trans Code: MD04) to see if a material is available?
this trans. is in...
client 100
00 - PHL - Production...
(I think... I'm not an SAP guru...)
back to Visual Basic + SAP-BAPI...
If so, HOW???
and do you HAVE TO display the return data in the provided SAP controls... or can you assign them to a variable...
I want to be able to query MD04 with a Material # and plant # and return the LAST cell in the Available qty field (column), to a variable so I can test it to see if there is adequate material for the job... or if I have to select another material...
Any ideas or suggestions... Please let me know...
It DOES NOT have to be limited to BAPI...
BUT, it DOES need to go through Visual Basic
If there is a site that I am overlooking that anyone knows about, to query SAP transactions via VB (with BAPI) please let me know...
this is the ONLY site I can find:
I do not see anything about Transactions in that set of pages...
I could just be overlooking it though...
Thank You in advance for help relating to this question...
Regards, Sometimes... the BASIC things in life are the best...
or at least the most fun ;-)
