Using Variables on Data Report Heading ???

Is there a way to make a variable part of the Data Report Header???


Ex.

Report name <Company Name> <Store #> Page

where <Company Name> & <Store #> denoted as variable value.

just put the fields there? maybe i dont understand your question. are the fields you want (company name and store #) in the recordsource of the report? if so, just put the fields in the report header.

I tryed to put them in the HEADing Section of Data Reports, it does not let me do that.

The text box does allows me to be place there, but the variable that contains the company name or store# does is NOT allow me to place it there.

Ex. Placing the fields on the Data Report.

Header Section 4

Page Header Section 2
NOT ok here Variable
OK Text


Detail Section 1
OK here Text & Variable

what do you mean by 'varible' vs. text box?

Text box = label

totally confused, sorry.
a text box is a text box, it holds data.
a label is a static thing, gets made automatically when you create a text box, or use toolbox button with the &quot;A&quot; on it.

You are confused because I don't think np3il is even referring to Access reports. It looks like he/she is creating DataReports which are only in Visual Basic. These are not Access reports however they can be used with Access data.
