Hi
I have passed the value ok from sub to main report, however I then only want the main report to show where this value = 0. However it isnt an option in select expert?

Can anyone help how I can achieve this?

Thanks

You can not do this as Main report is evaluated before subreport.

YOu will need to build a main report which is does not need to be conected to data.

Add your existing subreport and you main report as a subreport. You should then be able use a shared variable from the first subreport in the select expert of the old main report. You will probably have to create a formula for the Shared variable and then use that in select

Oldmainreportfield = @sharedvarformula

You can't use shared variables in select statements. You could use the subreport to suppress unwanted sections in the main report, however.
