Hi everybody,
I would like to know if there exist some way how to use user-defined functions in BusinessObjects reports or it is necessary to use in formulas internal B/O functions only.
(I am using BusinessObjects 5.1.1 without SDK).
Thanks in advance
Rosta

As far as iknowyou cant do this in the reports however you can create user defined objects based on database syntax, obviously you can use normal objects too.

Rosta,

You can easily create a External function in C++ and it will be available within the list of functions in the variable editor.

You don't need the SDK to do so, you can find an example in your folder \..\Business Objects\BusinessObjects5.0\UserLibs\sample

Hope it will help.
