I am attempting to install UPS Worldship software on a system connected to the internet via a Flowpoint 2200-12 router. UPS support says I need to enable port 440 for input and output and port 80 & 880 for output. Flowpoint's recorded support message says I need to enter

system addserver privateipaddress protocol portnumber

to enable a port. What are privateipaddress, protocol & portnumber?

Also UPS says I need to enable SSL tunneling. How do I do this?

Any help gratefully received.

CaKiwi,

The private IP address would be the LAN IP address of the machine where the UPS software is installed. Not familiar with the specific application but the protocol is most likely TCP/ THe port numbers are the ones you listed.

As for SSL Tunneling, I will look further. Perhaps some one here who is more familiar with the gear can provide that information.

Hope that helps.

Thanks a lot for the information. I will try it later today. CaKiwi

It turned out to be a different problem altogether - wrong system date causing certificate to be rejected. But have a star anyway. CaKiwi
