Hi all,

My current setting is as following:

NW server: OS: SUN 8 w/ NW 6.1.3
NW Client: OS: Wind 2000 sp3 w/ NW Client 6.1.3

The problem is:
I am recently encounter pop-up message when the Window client initiate the recover button from NW user GUI stating: "Using Unix Command for directed recovery", and I can't not do any recovery but click on OK. I can still do manual backup.

Does anyone ever encountered this message? And what is this message is refering to?

Thanks in advance for any hints..

Recoveries are client-initiated processes. In general, you must
execute them at the client you want to recover. However, NW also knows
about "Directed Recoveries". Unfortunately, before NW 7, a
DR for a client
of another OS can only be done from the command line. Look at the
manual pages for further info.
