Does anyone have any advice on using underlays in Crystal? I have the need to create our company's pre-printed invoice form in Crystal with the supporting data.

It seems easier to just create a report and re-create the invoice form within Crystal - rather than trying to import the .bmp and align data to it?

Anyone have any suggestions or reasons for using the underlay feature?

Thank you in advance.

Bring in the bmp into the page header and underlay that section. Now it should be easy to locate your fields.
You could also "paint" lines and boxes over the bitmap to recreate the full layout within Crystal and then get rid of the bmp.
