Using Ultra ATA/33 & Ultra ATA/100 Drives Together

I am building a new computer with a motherboard that supports Ultra ATA/133 Drives and understand that it is backwards compatible to older hardware. Here is my question:
What can I expect with an Ultra ATA/33 drive (master) and Ultra ATA/100 (slave) on the same IDE channel?
Will each drive operate at its' rated capacity?
Will the ATA/33 drive "slow down" the operation of the ATA/100 drive?

Thanks for your input.

Here is a link that's served as a good reference for me in the past:

It is important to point out that not all PIO Modes are incompatible with IDT. For example, many CDROMs made within the last 4 years use PIO Mode 4, which can still run on the same IDE channel as another drive that uses ATA (DMA) without slowing it down. It's the much older type drives that were alive in the pre-Pentium era that had problems when mixed with faster drives.

Also as stated in both articles, you never have a problem mixing Ultra DMA (ATA-2 and higher) devices on the same channel. It hasn't been a problem since the mid to late 90's.
