using type command

hello
i had a program where i have to print a text file so i use

Type xx.txt to printer

it works well,but the data appeared on the screen before printing,how to get rid of this.
i tried set echo off and set view off but it didn't work.

Try to direct output to another window and put that window outside of screen, so it will be hidden. There are certain command (like 'activate window') that allows this.
