Is there a way to set a parameter and only type in part of the word? Below is what I currently have:

{?Recruiter} = "All" or {Command.FullName} like {?Recruiter}

I am entering Recruiter as: 'Amb%'

I am using like because one might not know the full/correct spelling of the recruiter name so I want to allow them to type part of the name? This returns back no data, can I not use like in Crystal?

Thanks!!

Thanks a bunch!!

Here's how I do it...

{?Recruiter} = "All" or {Command.FullName} like
('*'+{?Recruiter}+'*')

Then the user can enter a whole string or part of a string and does not need to include the %.

Optionally you can leave of the leading * if you only want to allow for wilcards at the end
