Hi.

i´m using a voice mail box as a night answer for a customer but this thing has stopped working and I cant get the hang of it. Earlyer when the customer put the system in night 1 mode the call was routed to a empty acd path and as a interflow point I hade the extention for the voicemail box (always rerouted to the voicemail) and the people calling recived the message of the voicamail box.

but now some thing is wrong and I dont now what. Now when people calling and the system is in night 1 mode the only get the message that "you are beeing transferd to the operator" any one with a good Ideè?

Regards U

Hi Tdmulor,

Why are you using a empty ACD path. Are you trying to reroute a hunt group to voicemail in night 1 mode?

Knowledge is power!

Yes. the day mode is a hunt group and when the system goes to night 1 mode i would like to use a voice mail as answering point. this department at the customer is a member of a tenanting group.

the system is 3300 Mxe
software release 8 UR3

and You are so right, Knowledge is big power :)

I am assuming the ACD path is being used to Override the integration and force the Mailbox to match the DN of the ACD path.

There is a FAQ on this subject faq1329-6743

I suggest you check your setup against these intructions.

Hi and thank you.

My configuration is exactly as that guide, the only difference a could se was the menu node, I had it as an extention, I have now change to menu node but it is still the same. "you are beeing transferd to the operator". I wonder if it has something to do with any new releases? because this has been working earlier. My software release is 8.0.9.18.

Try the following:

Create a hunt group, type as NameTag. Send this to voicemail. Using the NameTag type Hunt Group, overrides the original dialling digits and sends the hunt groups instead.

Works the same as the ACD path.

Okey. I will try :) I will return my result for You.

Hi Again.

That worked fine, and was also quicker and more easy to set upp. Thanks a lot!

Mitel100,

I suggest you write a FAQ regarding the Name Tag hunt group overriding the integration for VM.

If you can't be bothered, I'll do it. This was news to me and it gets asked for a lot.

Hi All,

I tried this and also had success but then realised that you cannot use Message Waiting Indication on hunt goups.

If you put the users within the hunt group, the MWI will be delivered to the phones, when a voicemail is left

That makes sense ,however how can you then differentiate between person and hunt group voicemail messages.
This is usually acheived by assigning an MWI key on a designated handset which would monitor after hours messages.

What I have done in the past is to create a dummy extension within the hunt group and make this the MWI key. If this is not lit then it is a personal voicemail.

hmm... Not working.

Hi. I have used this tip a lot, a great one. But now I´m setting up a system, Cx 3300 SW: 8.0.11.7

I have a problem, or is it a bug in the system?

when a put a DID nr to my huntgroup for night answering, it works fine, I recive my message. But if a do a reroute always and using night 2 service for exemple to rerout to the same huntgroup, i plays nothing.

Hopefully someone understand what i mean and also has some ideés for me to test.

Regards U
