Using the same userid and password from NT Authentication to SQL2000

I want to use the same login information from Windows NT to SQL Server 2000. Once the user logs in the ASP application, I dont want them to enter the userid and password again while accessing the database in the ASP application. I know that there is something like IMPERSONATION, but I dont know this concept.

Can anybody help me in this ?
