Hi all,

I have a report that has 2 databases involved in it. One of the databases is connected to through an ODBC setting, and the other database is on my local system. When I go to use the report distribution expert, I get this error. The location of the database must be set to "Same as Report". Please return to the designer to change it, then distribute again. I go back to my report, and set the local database to "Same as Report" (meaning my destination directory for distribution and the directory that my database is in are the same), but I keep getting the error. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks
erin

The "same as report" means that the RPT file and the database file are in the same folder. Ken Hamady

I have put my database file and my RPT file in the same folder, but I'm still getting the error.

erin99: Try defining an ODBC source to point at your local database - the distribution expert should then recognise it not by location but by name - you can then change the location when installing onto the remote client David C. Monks
