Using the RDC with MS Access

Does anyone know of any sample Access apps that utilise the RDC? The developers guide that shipped with 8.5 outlines plenty of VB6 examples (and there's a truckload included on the CD), but it informs you to search the developerzone for Microsoft Office samples. When you get there, there's nothing to be found.
