using the old dns server

I have tricky question for you.

When you connect to our firewall with a vpnsession and are given a new DNSserver address. But when you check with nslookup you are asking the old DNSserver.

Is this by design or is there a solution out there?

What does your config look like? Is the point to point or remote access?

Assuming that you are using the VPN client: Have you enabled the PIX to pass the autoconfiguration variables to the VPN clients?
