Using the # key on an outside line on Partner ACS r6 2

I have a Partner ACS r6 system and the customer needs to switch on a feature from their phone vendor using the # key on an outside trunk. When you pick up an outside line and hit # you get a reorder tone. I assume Parter does not allow the # key. Is there a way to program it to all the # key on an outside line?

There's nothing preventing you from pressing # on an outside line. If the call doesn't drop and go to Intercom, the reorder tone is coming from the CO. Confirm with a butt set on the line ahead of the ACS

unless the system is set up for pooled access. do you have the lines assigned to the phones?
