Using the fastest connection 1

Wireless connects up to 120Mbit, wired connects at 1Gbit. Whenever I'm on a wired network, I have to switch off the wireless network otherwise it takes the slower wireless network over the faster wired network. I have the same problem with XP and W8.

Is there a way of making Windows preferring the fastest connection instead of preferring wireless over wired?
