I am successfully using Telnet to remotely get into my SCO system, however someone recently told me that this is not very secure, as it is not encrypted.

Firstly, is this true, and second, if it is true, is there a way to make Telnet more secure?

Thanks everyone.

use SSH instead.

See openssh.org for more info and depending on your SCO version you may find some precompiled SSH on ftp.jpr.com
