Hello everyone,

when Computers have a direct access to the internet via
DSL, CableModem, BroadBand or WIRELESS-connections, does
these connections requires the use of TCP/IP protocol?
thanks for the help.
 
Yes. To access the internet you must you TCP/IP. That is the only protocal supported on the Internet.

lets not forget Transmission Controll Protocall :)
 
Don't leave out User Datagram Protocol... you'd lose all those great streaming apps on the internet if it weren't for UDP!
