using tablet pc with "sketch"

I'm looking at getting a tablet pc to use in autocad. I primarily use to "sketch" feature to do my artwork which can then be used by a CNC laser for cutting. The laser reads .dxf's. My question is are there any issues using a tablet pc for this purpose?

I've already scoped out a Tablet PC from Gateway and I am using Autocad 2006.
