Hi,

I'm trying to use the tabstrip. I created one with 2 tabs. I can place frame on the first tab, but I can't place controls on the second tab in design-time. Is it possible? How?

2. I know that there is another tab control, SStab, and may there are more controls.
Which of them do you believe is the best?

Many thanks!

The TabStrip control [blue]is not a container[/blue]. To contain the actual pages and their objects, you must use Frame controls or other containers that match the size of the internal area which is shared by all Tab objects in the control. If you use acontrol array for the container, you can associate each item in the array with a specific Tab object, as in the following example:

Look up the whole help on TabStrip

Have fun.

I've used the SSTab, and it is easy to use. Probably any of the third party tab controls will do - I'm sure they all have similar capabilities.

One point about SSTab:
I like it and use it, and my boss likes it, too :)

Some time ago I found that after every click on the Tab all controls on that tab kept moving SE and eventually moved out of the screen (I am not making it up). So since then I always put a Frame on every Tab and place all my controls on the Frame.

Have fun.

I vaguely recall that SSTab bug and the Frame solution. It's been years since I used it.
