My company has about 25 new Dell desktops PCs with the same hardware configuration. My company has uses software that is standard for all the PCs and all these PCs will be using Windows XP Pro SP2.

I would like to configure one PC and install all the standard software on it, then create a Ghost image and copy this image onto the other 29 PCs. I would like to be able to use the WinXP license key that is shown on the side of each DELL PC.

Would it be possible to do this somehow using Sysprep? I've tested using Sysprep, but after entering the license key on the side of the PC, it still says that the product needs to be activated, but it was already activated before the PC was shipped to us.

Is what I want to do possible? Are there other alternatives/suggestions?

Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
