I currently use this on my PIX 515, is it possible to run something similair on my Cisco 3640?

You can use the following command, "logging <IP ADDRESS>" to send syslog messages from the 3640 to your syslog server. You may want to consider using the "logging source-interface <interface>" command to have all the syslog messages from the router to originate with the same IP address. Todd Hethmon
