Using subreports with form underlay

I have a primary report that has a form underlay in a group header. Within the form (within the group header), I have two subreports. They are running into each other.

Is there anyway to merge them or limit their size, etc... without adding additional sections (since then they will not print in the proper place on the form)?

Am I missing something simple? Thank you for your help in advance.

Turn off the CAN GROW option on the subreport.

Right click the subreport and select->Format Subreport

Then just size the subreport to whatever static height you need.
