Using stored procdures with odbc and sybase

I try to make a call to a stored procedure on a sybase database but when I make the storedprocedure component active I get the error : error in opening cursor handle. I have the dropdown list of all the procedures in the object inspector so the connection is allright. Can anybody help me with this ?
