I know this isn't really an .asp question, but I'm not getting much support in the operating systems forums, so perhaps someone here will know.(?)

I have installed CA on my win2k server and authorized myself a certificate through IIS to support ssl connections to my site(s) through port 443.

However, when I go to the web site that I've attached the certificate to, I get an error that it cannot find the server. I used the straight IP address, so it's not a domain name problem. I used https:// instead of the standard http:// for the web. That's not the problem. When I take off the certificate, everything works perfectly.

Any ideas why this might be? Thanks so much in advance!! -Ovatvvon :-Q
