I am having a problem trying to get SSL working on a site using frames. The site is accessed on a non secure server (i.e frameset - index.htm) then to access a 'members only'
area via a logon page which appears in the 'mainframe' area of the framed page. This logon page resides on a secure server, but when accessed via a hyperlink ( I do not get, either the usual popup saying 'you are entering a secure site etc...' or the padlock icon.
If I call the page directly by entering the https url in the address box(i.e bypassing the frameset) the page does behave correctly i.e popup and padlock appear.

This is because your page is loaded into frames... there is no way to display the little padlock unless the contents of the window are 100% secure... make everything https:// and you should get the padlock. -gerrygerry

"Are you sure about that?"
"I dunno... maybe he was just wavin' [wavey]..."
