We are considering a move to SQL as the Brightstor DB after several problems with VLDB corrupting. Has anyone on this forum done this before? Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Jcon

You can use the utility SETUPSQL.EXE in the BrightStor Home Directory. It will allow you to install a database into an existing MSSQL server (local, remote or clustered). If you also want to convert the data from the VLDB you can use the DBTOSQL.EXE utility (this can take a long time depending on the current VLDB database size. Personally I prefer to start with an empty database when moving to SQL but the choice is up to you.
SQL will give you more stability compared to VLDB
