I use Eudora in Sponsored Mode. When I go on holiday I intend to use it on my laptop connected to the Internet using a GPRS phone. As you will know, GPRS provides an always-on Internet connection and charges by the MB of downloaded information.

My worry is simple: how much and how often does Eudora download ads? I know the ads change from time to time, but how often is a connection made? Is it on a time basis e.g. every x minutes or is it, perhaps, on a session basis? If the latter, what constitutes a session? And how big are the ads? If I am downloading just 2 or 3 KB per session I have no worries, but if it is significantly more then I have.
