I have searched but cant seem to find a definitive answer. Please help. I have a customer who is going to go to R11 IP Office. They will reuse most of their Nortel T Series phones as they are a non-profit and don't have the funding for a complete rebuild. PRI and VM Pro will be installed. They want about 20 people to work remotely using softphones. I just need to make sure they have Power User licenses to make this work, correct? They don't need additional IP end point licenses, right? I also understood, so correct me if I am wrong, that with R11 you can run softphones without having to use a OneXportal Application/server?

Thank you for the help in advance!

@Z-man
If they are using just softphones and not IP Phones remotely, you will only need Office Worker Licenses. No IP end point licenses needed.

If you are looking for a softphone application without using One-X Portal, Use IX Workplace Application.
