Using SNMP to get database size

Anyone know how to do this?

We are using cacti. We have win2K & 2k3 on sql 2000 and I want to recover the info in the snmp monitoring tool.

I dont know if snmp was activated before installation of sql... I know there is a registry 'tweak' to enable it . . . is there any place in entreprise manager where the status of snmp in sql can be checked?
