I have a report where i need to use the parameter value
of the main report as a conditional filtering criteria for the subreport.
To achieve that i created a shared variable on the main report and created a formula in the subreport to get the shared variable.
Now when i am using that formula for conditional filtering in the subreport it gives error
saying

This Formula Cannot be used because it must be evaluated later.

Any solutions?

Sure, my suggestion is to post specifically what you're trying to do, the post is vague, and the design probably won't work.

Try posting meaningful technical information and the required output:

Crystal version
Database/connectivity used
Example data
Expected output

In general subreports are a bad idea and should be avoided.

As for filtering a subreport using a parameter from the main report, that's what the LINKS are for in the subreport, select the main report parameter and the field in the subreport to be filtered as the LINK. If you have advanced concerns, go into the Report->Selection Formula->Record of the subreport and edit it afterwards.
