Does anyone know if it is possible to "tween" shapes with jpg's, gif's or bmp's? I am new with Flash and am trying everything. Thank you.

Yes you can although you need to turn them into symbols first (insert/convert to symbol). You'll find that doing this though will create large file sizes esspecially if your images are compext.

If you imported images don't have too many colours and shapes try using the Trace Bitmap command. This will turn your images into editable vector shapes and the file size, in theory should be quite small. For help with this use the help in flash as it will explain it better than I could. :)
