It is I again. With the dynamic Dashboard innit.

So, step two:

I now have some validation lists in cells: One says Geography Type, (two types of geography) and the next lists the different items within each geography type.

So that's all fine, but what I want to do is graph this with the specific geograhic items on the X Axis.

One geography type has 53 items, and the other has 21....

Hi,

Use the Drop Down selection to filter your chart
s source data. The chart will only plot VISIBLE cells.

Ra. Having discussed with da Boss I can't do that.

I need to show the table of data too, so yet more "IF" type logic.

Worked out OK though, and working and calculating much faster than I expected.

The last thing I need to do is to do with my drop-down lists. Guess that needs a bit more research (with possibly another post later!).

Watch this space, and book early to avoid disappointment!

Don't understand the objection.

Filtering show the data for the selection.

Unfiltering show all the data.

What's the issue?

This is showing the agreegated data I had asked about last time, so in effect is creating an 'Executive Summary' table on a sheet based on drop downs and my very horrible SUMIFS with millions of nests in it! (Any more nests and the RSPB would be at me desk I think....)

But, table is fine now, and so charting from teh summarised table is a work of just moments.

Back to my other issue about my drop down lists! Am trying hard to search for a solution, but so far not so good.
