Hi
I need to have the ability to send and recieve Russian text from email friends on my Western (UK) W98 set up. I installed multilanguage support and also cryllic fonts/keyboartd and can switch with left alt/shift or from taskbar.

However I do not really understand how I can use this to send and recieve emails. My friend sent something last night and it came over as ?????, ????????, ?? ????? etc. Weird! I seem to be able to compose emails (using Arial or Times New Roman) which contains both character sets - will this then display correctly on their machines, assuming they have the same fonts installed? Also, how do I get my machine set up so that the text she sends will automatically be displayed as Russian text on my machine?

(Currently using W98 and Netscape Communictator 4.x but can use Outlook if necessary)

Many thanks in advance,
Shaun
