Afternoon All,

I have created a running total that I have placed within a formula.

When I try to Sum the formula down to the Groups it will not let me because I am using a running total within it.

Is there any way that I can use a running total within a formula and then sum the formula down to the groups?

Please help my brain has turned to Jelly.

Thanks

I think you need another running total, that does the same job but at a different level.

Crystal has its own sequence of doing things, and I think that 'Sum' become before running totals are evaluated.

You should provide the contents of the formula, sample report layout and results, and explain what you are trying to do. There might be a different approach than using running totals that would achieve your desired results.

Probably manual totals would do the job fine....but we would have to see details on what you are trying to do....a sample expected output would be nice.
