Hi all,

I am new to Cognos (am SAP FI/CO consultant) and totally confused. Can someone suggest some study material (not Cognos delivered) that explain the relation between various components of Cognos and ultimately using Report Studio to create?

If someone can forawrd some link to download from, I will be really grateful.

The idea of the Report is:

In Rows:
We need certain arranged hierarchy (Totals and Subtotals at vastages) of Cost Elements (GL Accounts)
OR
Use of an SAP-defined Cost Element Group (that has already biult in hierarchy)

In Columns:
Mainly four, Selected Period Actual Data, Plan Data, Variance & Previous Year Data for the same period.

WILL SOMEONE HELP PLEASE ?????

Regards and Thanks in Advance

dude,
there ain't much stuff on Cognos other than that which Cognos produce - it's not like you can find Cognos for Dummies at Borders. Their website isn't bad for info - SUpportNet documents, product pdfs and the like.

ReportNet is not really something you can set up following a tt thread - it's the kinda thing you get $$$ consultants in to do if you don't have inhouse expertise, like if your company decided to switch to SAP [wink]....

Didn't the reseller offer a configuration package o/a the licence price?
