Thanks for looking.
The server uses Windows 2003 Standard with Terminal Server.
The remote workstations use XP SP3 and RDP to access the Terminal Server.
We always need to set the default printer on the remote workstation before we connect to the server in order to have the server redirect the print job back to the correct printer.
Our problem is that we have several printers installed on the remote computer and many times the user forgets to set the default printer on the local workstation. They then go to print and the print job goes to the wrong printer.
My question is: Is there a way to hardcode (maybe remote workstation registry) the printer that Terminal Server redirects so that it ignores the remote computer's default printer and uses the hardcoded remote printer?
Thanks for your help,
Richard Scott
