Hi out there!

I had to reinstall an E2k Server. (It was the one having the same NetBIOS domain name as the NT4 network. No it wasn't updated - just put into service ... someonemight remember).

We did an update of the NT4 PDC after downing E2k und removing AD from it (e2k + DC).

I used the databases and reinstalled E2k. The user accounts were "remapped", the outlook settings redone and almost everything is working:

The users can mail (ex- and internally, several SMTP addresses), use calendaring, archive etc.

There is a problem with the public folders, though. The "old" names are there (i.e. "Holidays") but cannot be accessed. We are using a "Holidays1" instead.

What/where to check to get full control over these PFs again?

Thanx

Harald

Can you get to them via Exchange System Manager? If so delete them like that. Dan
