Does anyone know if there are any advantages for saving a presentation as a pot to use as a template? In my office they have a ppt they use as the template and I am wondering if that is causing any corruption within their files.

Thanks,

Dara

If they're using a PPT as a template, it's possible some yo-yo will make changes then do a "Save". This will overwrite the original thus messing it up. As long as they make changes then do a "Save As" and rename, it'll be all right. But don't count on it. You're dealing with people.
One of the purposes of a template is to avoid such a senario. And it adds consistency to the group's presentations.
