Hello,

I am trying to run Photoshop CS 9 on a Notebook with 15.4" widescreen and having problem with displaying photo in "Fit on Screen" mode (Ctrl+0). The image won't enlarge to fit on the whole available area, it just display in one corner, leaving lot of unused screen space. I am unable to find where and how to modify the display mode in order to get it work like on a conventional 4:3 ratio screen.

I can manually adjust it, but it was inconvenient and cumbersome.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Fit on screen does not mean fill screen. It will only increase the size to fit, in your case, the height. Your only option would be do change the length width ratio of the image to match your screen's ratio. This, of course, would distort the original.

You cannot change the display resolution of a flat screen like you could a crt. There's a built in resoultion and one or two options. None of these will give you a 4-3 ratio.
