Using PERL (trace2strap) to convert Mx trace format.

Hi,
I am trying to convert an Mx SLP60 trace to format which can be read by Signal trace interpreter(SAM).

Using perl, i place my trace.txt in the perl directory (contains trace2strap script) when i try in DOS....

C:\PERL>trace2strap trace.txt > file.txt
this created the file file but with 0kb.

I also tried >trace2stap.pl trace.txt > file.txt

Does anybody know where i'm going wrong?

Dont worry, cracked it.
You can do this on TSE in usr/home/bin using trace2strap.

To do this on a Windows machine, you must install a Perl environment. I use activeperl which I believe is the most comonly used and it's free.
