Hi everybody.
I hope you will help us because we are having serious problems upgrading the system on our school. (Graphic Arts Institute Of Denmark)
As it is at the moment we have 90 mac's using appletalk and 50 PC's using TCP/IPX and IPX/SPX. All ports and switches are 100 and 1000 mbit.
All computers are running on a Novell server - but it's slow communication and for transfers (Mac's).
Might there be a server solution ?

Looking forward to hear from you.

There is a solution, it is the IP/IPX client for Macintosh. I believe the most current version of that is 3.15 and if you go to support.novell.com and do a search for Mac Client, you will be re-directed to the company that has actually taken over development of the client. It works flawlssly and the added benefit is that you get to get rid of appletalk altogether from your network. Thus increasing bandwidth and speed to all devices.

If you find that this is not a solution, then I will need to know more about your server configuration before I can help you.
