I have a user that went to Europe not too long ago and told me that he was not able to access our Outlook Web Access in order to retrieve his emails. I have several users going to Italy next week and would like to be able to have access to their email thru OWA...can you tell me is there a setting that we need to change on the server for this or what could be the reason the 1st user was not able to connect??
Thanks!

If it works ok inside the US, I would put it down to user error

I disagree. Outlook does behave differently outside of the country it was installed in. It uses the region setting (I think) of the browser and will automatically translate the page, timezone (hence the reason for the exchange patch) etc.

Check the country subfolders in the exchsrv\exchweb\bin folder and make sure your IIS user has access to them.

First, OWA does not care where the request comes from. It works eveywhere, but YES, I also have the regional problems... EG if a pc is in ITALIAN, OWA is also in ITALIAN...
Does somebody know a solution for this nuissance?
